A well painted c1960 vintage portrait of a lady seated. Good attention to detail for the hands, balanced flesh tones and quick brush stokes hint to good quality. The red lipstick and chair gives a pleasing contrast to the muted green colour. The painting is signed Winifred A Pratt and was originally sold through the Rowley Gallery in Kensington and comes with a fine gallery frame.
